“The Romanovs: An Imperial Family” (2000 film) (FINAL SCENE)
This is the final scene of a well-made film that portrays the horrible fate that happened to the Russian Romanov royal family during the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution. The full movie details how Tsar Nicholas II was first forced to abdicate his throne, then he and his family were put under house arrest by the Bolsheviks under the guise of “protecting” them, and then he with his entire family were told to gather in the basement under the guise of a picture being taken of them, where they were gunned down by leftist Commissars.
[NOTE: That really happened! Historical accounts of the Romanov family show that they were very close-knit with each other. Tsar Nicholas II was not a tyrant, he was actually appointed to his position due to an accident of his brother dying of an illness. The family’s murder was a horrible tragedy.]
